The purpose of the Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in raising their children to be disciples of Christ.
At Crosstimbers, we believe the children are the future of the church; therefore, we include our children during the worship portion of our service. Not only do children love to sing to God, but keeping the children in the assembly while we sing and take communion also gives us as parents the opportunity to help our children learn how to worship God.
Children ages 3-Kindergarten are invited to a special “Kingdom Kids” class during the sermon. If children are more comfortable with their parents, they are also welcome to remain in the assembly during the sermon time.
Following the worship assembly, we offer Bible classes for all ages of children. These are truly Bible classes, seeking to help our children know and understand God’s Word.
During the summer, we offer Vacation Bible School, another opportunity to learn God’s Word in a fun environment. Our children also participate periodically in our worship services by singing, drama, or other special presentations. This is especially true in our annual Christmas program.
